Liberals lead on budget responsibility

I am pleased that the TCCI has released a spendometer, proving that the Liberals are the most fiscally responsible party.

Make no mistake, both Labor and the Greens are promising to spend more than the Liberals. No wonder Michael Aird is running scared and refuses to participate in a debate on the economy.

As for the Greens, they won’t even admit how much they have promised. How’s that for a complete lack of honesty and transparency?

If Labor and the Greens continue to make big spending promises the way they are, then we will be paying for them and our children will be paying for them for years to come.

Only the Liberals can manage the economy to protect and create jobs and cut the cost of living. The Liberals responsible commitments are about implementing the real changes that will drive our economy forward and reduce the cost of living.

That’s why we’re committed to cutting Land Tax, boosting business and investing in vital infrastructure that has been left to rot over the past 12 years.

That’s why we’re cutting the cost of living by making sure school buses are free for students, doubling the heating allowance and capping water and sewerage prices.

It is clear that jobs are the priority at this election and the only way to protect jobs is to elect a majority Hodgman Liberal Government to get behind our economy and our business sector. A minority Labor/Green Government will not be able to do that.
