Tasmania can’t afford a Labor-Green minority government
Revelations today that the combined Labor-Green spending for the election campaign totals over $750 million shows why Tasmania simply can’t afford a Labor-Green minority Government.
It would literally bankrupt the state.
Either that, or as Greens’ leader Nick McKim has already flagged, the policies of both Labor and the Greens would be up for negotiation.
In other words, vote for Labor or the Greens and you don’t know which of their “promises” are actually going to be delivered.
In contrast, Liberal spending is at just $268.8 million. Our spending is sensible, it is prudent, and it is economically responsible.
And since we are the only party that can form majority, we are the only party that can categorically say that we will deliver on ALL of our promises.
On March 20 Tasmanians have the choice of a majority Liberal Government that will spend within our means and provide the real change Tasmania needs, or a Labor-Green minority government which will bankrupt the state.
