Scottsdale Football Club

A Hodgman Majority Liberal Government will provide $70,000 to assist the Scottsdale Football Club to undertake a minor capital upgrade of its facilities and assist with the previous installation of lighting at the ground.

The Scottsdale Football Club has a proud and prosperous history having won 12 senior premierships and one state flag. Its currently fields three teams in the NTFA and NTJFA teams from under 12 to under 16.

It is currently planning an upgrade of its clubrooms, which were originally built almost 50 years ago. In the North-East the football club is more than just a sporting team, it is a focus for many of the social gatherings undertaken in the town during the winter months.
