Medical Council inquiry

It is now twelve months since the Medical Council commenced its inquiry into Dr Paul McGinity, the long-standing North-East based medical practitioner.

It is unacceptable that this matter has dragged on for so long. Both Dr McGinity and those who are the subject of the complaints deserve that the matter be expedited. The North-East community, which has been served so well and loyally by Dr McGinity for so many years deserve nothing less than that as well.

If elected to government, the Liberals would immediately provide whatever resources the Medical Council needs to conclude this matter as expeditiously as possible.
